The time it takes to make a decision on what to do in the moment is time that could be used actually doing something. Like when you’re on your commute home and are wondering in which order to run your errands. This can all be avoided by planning ahead. Use a planner, or Google Calendar since many people carry a smart phone everywhere anyway. Plan out your errands in a logical manner that makes sense to you and you won’t even have to think about it when the time comes. This applies to any number of tasks that may need to get done. Use a calendar, set up a routine! Many successful people, some would even call geniuses, free up mental space by planning ahead. Mark Zuckerburg and Steve Jobs are just two examples of individuals that freed up their mental space by wearing basically the same clothes everyday. While that may be a little drastic, there’s a lesson to be learned about being a decisive doer!
